"O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:3
Music is powerful. It conveys emotion and feelings. Our desire is to exalt the King of kings, our Saviour, and Redeemer. With songs of worship, adoration and thanksgiving, we honor Jesus Christ, lifting high the name above all names.
John 4:23 says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." So now is the time to glorify the Lord. We worship in spirit; our lives, not just our songs. Our lives become one big praise. We worship in truth, because we realize salvation is in Jesus. The fullness of our redemption comes from Calvary. One worship song we sing perfectly depicts our desire.
When I think about the Lord
How He saved me, how He raised me
How He filled me with the Holy Ghost
How He healed me to the uttermost
When I think about the Lord
How He picked me up, turned around
How He placed my feet on solid ground
It makes me want to shout
Hallelujah, thank you Jesus
Lord, you're worthy of all of the glory
And all the honor, and all the praise!
